Wantabe Ranch, settle in for a peaceful evening

This is a working Texas Longhorn Ranch, this apartment is separate from the house, with entry private. Has a small wet bar, Living area looks out to pasture and has a sleep sofa, small kitchenette, with refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. Bathroom has shower big enough for two. The ranch has a private gated entry. We are a working ranch so if you inquire and we don'trespond for 6 or 8 hours it is noisy on tractor and around cattle so be patient. Welcome Snow birds and Europeans .

The Dairy Barn & Parlor

Set on 12 acres this secluded little house is the perfect get-a-way place to enjoy some down time. Close to fishing at Lake Conroe this cottage serves also as a central point to enjoy some of the local wineries, visit historic downtown Montgomery, explore the Sam Houston National Forest or spend time at the Texas Renaissance Festival which is only 20 minutes away. The physical address and entrance road name has changed several times in the past few years so the GPS address may not work.

Cabin In The Forest - Houston National Forest

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cabin in the forest. It's only walking distance to the beautiful Lone Star Trail in Sam Houston National Forest. This forest cabin has access to a fishing pier that is fully stocked with native fish (no license required); please follow lake rules. Bring your kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy the lake. There's lots of scenery (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera!

The Little House

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The "Little House" doesn't feel so little. The spacious kitchen and open living area has plenty of room for an air mattress if you have more than two in your party. With Fiber internet and WiFi available, the smart TV in living area and bedroom make two great separate spaces. In the utility room is the closet area with stackable washer/dryer and full bathroom just across the hall for convenience.

This mini-apartment is in the top section of a barn and you may have to duck your head. There is a queen-sized bed and an additional mattress for someone else if needed. The Burrow: Built 1837
