Welcome to Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island. We are located on a quiet rural area with a beach access road right across the street! It's a short stroll to go down and enjoy the view. The best accesses for entry to the water are just a short walk away also. This is a large 2 room suite in our home completely self contained for privacy. Self check in with designated parking spot for you. We are hosts on site if you need anything. We are located between Nanaimo and Parksville, 15 min. either way.

Our guest cabin is nestled in a peaceful wooded acreage in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. The entire cabin is for your exclusive use. To keep the cabin allergen free, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS. Our home is at the back of the 5 acres so we are available if you have any questions. Please note the added fees - AirBnb charges a service charge and occupancy tax but as a courtesy, we do not add cleaning fees. It is our expecttion that all guests make the effort to leave our guest cabin neat and tidy.

Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

The Vine and the Fig Tree studio

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Welcome to a nature-lovers paradise, in central Vancouver Island in Nanoose Bay (13km north of Nanaimo). This vacation suite is surrounded by 100 acres of protected bird sanctuary/estuary lands. We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
