Our Point of View

Escape to a place with breathtaking glacier and mountain views that is only 20 min from downtown but feels worlds away. This cozy 1 BR 1 Bath apartment attached to the back of our home, includes a queen bed as well as a queen pull out sofa bed. It resides in a quiet neighborhood 5 min from the glacier & is the gateway to outdoor exploring with incredible views right off the deck and many other trails close by. AKNS Ocean View Room

The AKNS Ocean View Room is a 400 square foot studio. It includes a queen bed, a kitchenette with a small refrigerator & microwave, and a small table with 2 chairs. Wireless internet is included along with a smart HD streaming TV (no subscriptions). The bathroom has a tiled shower, towels & a hairdryer. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and our gardens. Its own entrance is down a short boardwalk from your off-street parking with easy access to the beach and our beach-front gazebo.

Spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home with 2 car garage. Just over the bridge from downtown on Douglas Island. Close enough to be in town in just a few minutes drive, but out of town enough to feel like you’re away from the busyness. Home is tucked up against the forest so you feel much further out of town than you really are. Amazing views of Mt Roberts and Mt Juneau from the front deck.
