You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cosy loft is a one bedroom tiny house with ample loft space and an ensuite. It has beautiful views of mushra mountain and nature. The space is suitable for a family of 4 or a group of 4 friends. There is a sofa bed for extra guests above 2 at an extra cost. The space has an open lounge style kitchen with ample space with all kitchen amenities provided . There is cool art we have collected from our travels all over the world.

Tigh Na Sióg (House of Fairies) is a Beautiful Peaceful Self Catering Treehouse/Lodge & Private Hot Tub situated 6km north of Bandon town, West Cork. 'While Lonely Planet may not know the place the fairies do'. Surrounded by green lush fields & the soothing sounds of nature, nestled in the corner of a mature garden surrounded by the native Irish tree hedging the Hawthorn(fairy tree). Located 30 mins from Kinsale Clonakilty and Cork City which allows you to indulge in West Cork at ease.

This is a newly built timber cabin situated in the heart of the countryside adjacent to medieval ring-fort (not restored) only 15 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins from Cork Airport and 20 minutes drive to Kinsale - property has gas central heating, spacious well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer. Large furnished patio area with outside Hot Tub. Property is very private. Ideal for couples looking for quiet romantic getaway. We have 2 very friendly dogs and a cat.
