This is a newly remodeled 5 BR, 2 bath, Century family farmhouse located on 162 acres in rural Huntingdon county in south central Penna. We are minutes from where you can launch kayaks and fish on the Aughwick Creek. It is24.4 miles from Lake Raystown and dam in Entrekin, Pa. This is a source of boating, camping, fishing and water sports. It is 64.5 miles from Penn State Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa. There are many nearby tourist attractions and areas for hiking and biking trails.

WiFi is available. If you like old trains Eastbroad Top Railroad is close. Small town. Couple restaurants, old fashion ice cream shop, bank, Mini Mart and more. Raystown Lake is 30 mins. away. Thousand Steps for hikers. If you like hunting State Game Land is real close. Hunters are Welcome.

Creekside Cottage

Creekside Cottage is a lovely two-bedroom cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens with a back deck that makes you feel like you are living in a tree house. This is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. There are beautiful views of Back Creek from the deck where you can bird watch and hopefully catch sight of one of our local bald eagles. You'll feel right at home with this spacious kitchen that is well-stocked. Walking distance to Twin Bridge Camp. NO SMOKING NO PARTIES.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

History of the cottage: Built in 1998 as a gift shop selling Boyd's Bears, and other home décor, We were ranked one of the top Boyd's sellers in the country. Once we closed the shop, it has been renovated to a rental space. We want it to be a place people can come partake in our beautiful views, see wildlife & enjoy a quiet environment. The Cottage is located adjacent to our home but still give privacy to enjoy the location.
