This unique A-frame is designed & built by our family to create a home away from home. Nestled in 5 acres of woods with stunning views of Lake Superior & the sounds of waves outside your door; you have to experience it for yourself.

Superior View House

The Superior View House is your quiet escape to the North Shore. Located just 1 mile from access to Lake Superior, 1/2 mile from the Superior Hiking Trail and 10 minutes from Grand Marais this entire home is an excellent place to set up for a long weekend exploring the Northwoods. The cozy fireplace and large airy living room make for comfortable ways to spend the evenings or days when the whether isn't cooperating, otherwise the three outdoor decks and wood fired sauna are the places to be.

This clean, modern, Scandinavian-feeling cabin, sleeps up to 5; 1 Queen, 1 pull out couch, 1 twin bed. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer for your clothes after a day of hiking or skiing. If you’d like an early check-in or a late check-out, simply ask as we can usually accommodate these requests.

Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. A beautifully private north woods retreat any time of year!

Welcome to Hawkweed House, your peaceful getaway in Grand Marais. The perfect place to explore and enjoy the North Shore, we are located 10 minutes from downtown Grand Marais on a quiet wooded 3 acre lot at the edge of a wildflower meadow. The whole house has recently been updated and remodeled and is filled with light and greenery and offers lots of privacy. This cozy home offers a balance of open common areas, private relaxation spaces, and outdoor spaces to enjoy during your visit.

This cozy cabin provides a perfect getaway and is a gem in all seasons, especially during the fall colors or a blowing winter storm. Timber frame cabin built on a hilltop, on 20 acres of old growth maples. Walls of glass, a screened in porch and a wrap around deck bring the outdoors inside. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

Our guest house offers spectacular views of Lake Superior, a queen size bed facing a wall of windows, a full kitchen & bath, and a relaxing living room. Look across the lake to the Apostle Islands or look across the universe at night! Hawkweed Farm sits on 23 bluff-top acres 3 miles west of Grand Marais. Nestled along 540ft of rocky beach, Inn Suite #8 offers bird’s eye views and sounds of Superior. This spacious attic suite features a stunning window seat, wood fireplace, plush futon, wingback chair and ottoman, and private entry. Just off the dining area is a well-equipped full-size kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, gas stove, and balcony. The luxurious bathroom boasts a claw foot tub. Inn Suite #8 sleeps up to 5 people (2 on the futon, 1 child on window seat).
