You can go to the sea with 4 min walking. Near has hotels, bars, super markets, taverns, offices to rent cars. You can walk at night safely and see other people doing the same. There is a bus stop near the house, with hourly schedules to go to Ierapetra, Agios Nikolaos or to Makri Gialos, Sitia, Vai.
