Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes National Park. We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.

The home is filled with local art, a fully equipped kitchen, beach equipment, fruit trees, and a large lanai (patio). We are centrally located on the east side of the Big Island between Volcano Nat. Park and Hilo and just a few minutes off of highway 11. Fully equipped with everything you will need. Let us be your home away from home in Hawaii!

In a short driving distance from this bb is a popular 2.5 mile hike to a beautiful secluded beach with turtles relaxing on the shores. Down the other end of the road about a 2min drive you'll enjoy the paradise view of the pacific ocean with waves crashing against the cliffs. Up the mountain top visit the most spectacular view of the lava flow lighting up the night sky.
