Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .
