Port Moluag House, Isle of Lismore

Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Clickety-Clack is nestled at the head of Loch Eil, 10 miles from Fort William, 6 miles from Glenfinnan. Sleeps 4 persons max. Sits along side the A830. 1 well behaved dog is permitted at the cottage with prior arrangement. We have beautiful views of the Loch and Ben Nevis. Perfect for couples and families and sits alongside the West Highland Railway line, the cottage is in the enviable position to watch the trains pass the front door. Car is essential in order to see the surrounding areas.

Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

The Little House is a charming self contained cottage standing in its own grounds surrounded by its garden. The beach is within 3 minutes walking distance. There are plenty of local walks and many more further afield. The Little House is surrounded by farm land, with sheep and cows grazing. The entrance is through a gate and there is ample parking. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. 1640 Highland house, a former site of Stewarts of Ballachulish. Alan Brek, famous hero of "Kidnapped" by RL Stevenson, was born and raised in this house. Many historic events are related to Ballachulish House. It's beautiful grounds are surrounded by golf course. Loch Linnhe is within walking distance. Perfect for hiking and bicycle.
