Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Bracken Barn is situated on a hill overlooking Cuil Bay and Loch Linnhe, with views stretching down the Morvern Peninsula, past the small islands of Balnagowan, Shuna and Lismore…and all the way to the Isle of Mull. Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The high-ceilinged sitting room has a wood-burning stove and with large picture windows, guests will surely never tire of the ever-changing loch views.

Our detached cottage has beautiful views of the surrounding Glencoe mountains. In an elevated position above the historic village of Ballachulish. Just a short walk to lovely Loch Leven and the village's shops, pub and eating places. Explore magical paths, trails and waterfalls as well as higher routes directly from the cottage. No need to drive. On National Cycling Route 78 and local routes for all abilities. Ballachulish is well-positioned for days out around the area and further afield.

Modernist Studio in the Scottish Highlands

This distinctive building, renovated both inside and out, started life as a primary school in 1966 and its modernist design is unique for the area. You will be surrounded by art, vintage furniture, natural textiles and amazing views during your stay. Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.
