Listen to the woods around you and if you are quiet enough, you may see the deer walking the property. You will feel like you are miles from civilization, but with the convenience of being close to town.

Peace Barn Getaway

Peace Barn Getaway is a private, cozy modern one-bedroom barn apartment tucked behind the main house, offering a peaceful rural escape but only 4 miles from town. The space includes one bedroom, one full bathroom, a kitchenette and a living area with a sofa that converts into a queen bed, comfortably sleeping up to 4 guests. Enjoy a small coffee bar, washer/dryer, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. We are only 6.2 miles from UWG and 6.1 miles from South Wire Company.

Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

Creekside Cabin is conveniently located about 8 miles from Lake Wedowee and about 45 minutes from Cheaha State Park.

Relax in this tucked away cottage right off the main Hwy (431) in Wedowee. The home is situated so that each window on the main floor will provide a constant view of both landscape and lake. It is the perfect space for an intimate gathering of family or a pile up of the closest friends. Firewood is available upon request, we will supply enough for one fire, (fire pit outside and fireplace inside) the extra firewood will be $7 per bundle unless you bring your own. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
