Located a 15 minute drive from Sechelt, the Welcome Woods cabin maintains much of the eclectic building style common on the Coast in that era. Most similar dwellings are long gone. It’s a perfect location with Sargeant Bay, Fullerton Beach and Welcome Woods Market, all within a 15 minute walk or short drive. Across the street are kilometres of hiking, and biking trails. Our family has enjoyed the quiet area since 2007.

Welcome to your serene and cozy retreat nestled in our private backyard oasis. Escape the hustle and bustle in our tranquil space, featuring a cedar barrel sauna, bubbling hot tub, and refreshing outdoor cedar shower. The ambiance is bright and inviting, offering the perfect environment to unwind and recharge. We understand that your furry friends are family too, so we happily welcome dogs with an additional $50 cleaning fee per dog. Sorry we don’t accept cats.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

Relax + unwind in our cozy guest suite w an amazing view of the water. You won't find another rental on the coast like ours. There're walking trails just outside our door. We have a SMALL KITCHENETTE and NO STOVE more details about the kitchen below. The dock is completely off limits & not part of the rental. If you are caught using it on camera you will be asked to leave the rental immediately. No smoking.
