This means you can venture off the property and explore without worrying about trespassing on the neighbor's land. There is a path to the lake. A public boat launch is just around the corner. It's about a 30-minute drive to Murray State University and a 20-minute drive to Paris Landing State Park.

Welcome to Our Father’s Place! Four generations of our family have invited folks to come to enjoy good food, stay all night (or a lot of nights), visit, rest or just sit a spell. It’s our desire that you will enjoy your time here and maybe make some good memories. Murray is a “Goldilocks” kind of town…it’s just right. It’s big enough to offer options for entertainment and dining but small enough to offer plenty of Southern hospitality.

Whether you want to sit back and relax on the deck or by the fire pit, enjoy kayaking, swimming or fishing, the cottage is perfect for everyone! Fishermen are welcome! We have covered boat parking and electricity available!
