This cozy, well-equipped 3-bed, 1.5-bath bungalow is ready to be the basecamp for your next getaway! Perfectly positioned between Cape Pointe Marina and the Cape Lookout ferry, and a short 500-foot stroll to a public water access park, you are minutes away from being on the water! There is ample space for boat and car parking and the “Cadillac of outdoor showers” is ready to wash your worries away before you relax on the deck, enjoying the view of Shackelford Banks. Keep an eye out for dolphins!

The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and has spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows. Other amenities are a screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs (with a single $150 pet fee), joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

For the fishing enthusiasts an array of fish can be caught from the dock to incl, sheep's head, flounder, puppy drum, speckled trout, blue fish, crabs and more.

We've caught drum, flounder, shrimp, etc. Master has a king nectar bed and an amazing view of the water from the picture windows. 3 miles to beach, 13 miles to Aquarium, & 13 miles to Camp Lejeune. The road is close but once you exit your vehicle, you feel like you are in your own lil paradise.

Ant’s Corner is a cozy coastal retreat with a water view in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near Island Express Ferry Service and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. Home updates done in spring of 2024 include- entire interior painted, popcorn ceilings removed and other drywall repairs, new ceiling fans and interior lighting, and more! House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!

If you are an artist, fisherperson, kayaker, boater or just someone who wants to chill, you will love this. It’s quirky, private, artsy and has soul to refresh yours. Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.
