The Moonlight Hideaway

Welcome to The Rustic Escape Farm Retreat where time is spent refreshing the mind in the great outdoors. Our off grid eco friendly stargazing dome is hidden amongst the forest on 83 acres of breath taking views. Take a stroll on our groomed trails or come up and visit our hobby farm with highland cows, goats and mini horse. In the summer to fall add a unique date night experience watching a movie with the cows. Peace, nature and a little animal therapy is what everyone needs to experience.

Small cabin in the woods with many seasonal uses. There is over 1000 adjoining acres of mixed forest & fields. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
