Dog friendly and a hit with ramblers and those who enjoy messing about in boats, as the cottage is situated close to the western side of Derwentwater lake and also to fantastic fells and mountains. South Cottage, Orton is a 2 bedroom cottage situated 6 miles from The Lake District National Park and nestled within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Orton itself is very popular and is situated on the famous Coast to Coast route. It has an award winning cafe and a chocolate shop, a monthly farmers market, a village store and a village pub! The cottage is really cosy, pet-friendly and has super-fast WiFi. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay welcoming, cosy and fun!

Country Cottage with Views 15m Walk to Pub

Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

Barney’s cottage with hot tub and wood burner.

We only allow a maximum of two adults and two children under the age of 18 The hot tub can be used between the hours of 8am and 10pm This beautifully cottage sits in the Lake District National parks eastern border in the Lunesdale valley. Situated in the grounds of Roundthwaite farm the property has fantastic views down the valley towards Sedbergh and North to Penrith and the Lakes.
