There is a kitchenette with a mini-fridge/stovetop and oven so you can prepare meals, a queen-size bed, a couch with storage, and a bathroom with a shower. Ideal for a couple or solo traveler looking to disconnect and observe nature at work from the large windows. There is a fire pit and Adirondack chairs on the patio if it's not too cold out!

The 2026 vegetable garden has been planted! New for 2026: Kitchen Aid stand mixer, new towels, frying pans. Cupcake Cottage has had a total renovation: the same light, charm, and views remain but inside there is a new kitchen, flooring, and heating system. And outside, a new deck and porch configuration, windows, siding, roof and dormers. The house is an 1838 barn with old beams and rafters, and modern finishes of hemlock, red oak, and western red cedar throughout.

Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps.
