The Nissen Hut - Westfield Farm

New this season, this contemporary and modern Nissen Hut offers luxury accommodation on the stunning coastline of Northumberland. Situated between Seahouses and Bamburgh it is the perfect base to explore this outstanding area of beauty. Alnwick is within 20 minutes distance and Berwick within half an hour. Our Nissen hut was an original old building on our farm and has gone under a complete transformation to the highest standard. Sleeps up to two guests and has all the amenities you will need.

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

A spacious, comfortable property just 550 yards from the beach and Budle Bay. 1 mile from Bamburgh village with shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as the castle by the sea. The cottage is ideally placed for lovers of the sea, vast sandy beaches, castles, wildlife and the countryside. Puffin Cottage offers a homely and relaxing retreat in this beautiful location. A car is very useful to make the most although there are buses that operate with a bus stop about 40 yards from the front door.

Escape to the Northumberland coast for big skies and magnificent beaches. This comfortable 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a working farm, with St Cuthbert’s, St Oswald’s and the Sandstone way passing through. With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

The Cheviot Hills are a 25 minute drive away and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from the garden.
