Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area Trail #15. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Historic Farmhouse with Donkeys on Creeper Trail

Welcome to the historic Abingdon Donkey Lodge, a farm stay on the Creeper Trail. We're waterfront too, and have sweet, fuzzy donkeys to pet. Your stay includes the upstairs of our beautiful home: 2 huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area, and a balcony. (Your hosts live downstairs, so we share an entrance.) No kitchen or laundry access. We host up to 2 guests ages 12 and over. No pets, please. Two parking spaces. Please read all details before booking. Cats may visit you. NO CLEANING FEE.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

Resting on an acre of land and right off I 81 enjoy your stay in our cozy, country cottage.

A Bit of Heaven Rental:Cove Suite Warrior Trail

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.

You will relax and reconnect in this beautiful valley nestled in the Southwest Virginia mountains. Sit on the porch and soak up those mountain views. Relax in the hot tub and count the stars. Reconnect with your spouse as you unplug from the hustle and bustle. Rest, laugh, enjoy! The cabin is located on a working family farm. You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.

Raven Ridge at the Channels, great views, hot tub!

Raven Ridge Lodge is a unique and wonderful retreat located on a mountain top in a natural rhododendron garden. It makes a great base for visiting the Channels Natural area. Take a hike, and then relax in the hot tub. The views are spectacular. My guests tell me my photos don't do justice to the mountain top. Come and see for yourself!
