Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

Private setting with short walk to the Pinnacle trail head, 5 minute quick drive into town for groceries, public town beach, boat launch, Sagamore Resort, public beaches, restaurants, brewery, and shops. Camp Shady - in the Adirondacks

Camp Shady is nestled on a few acres of pristine land with a stocked Trout Stream running thru the property. There is a great big fire pit with wood to burn, horseshoe pits and massive pines around the property. It has been all remodeled and is ten minutes from Gore Mountain. There is a television with lots of DVD's, access to the internet & cell phone reception on the premises. There is a landline, board games, and an JBL speaker to play your music thru. Hike, fish, swim nearby. Air conditioners on the main floor for the summer months. Our 9120 watt solar array powers our property. During the cold months enjoy the wood stove. All wheel drive a must in winter. We have a spacious deck by the shared pool, pergola, and a shady deck by the stream.

Our cozy apartment attached to our garage can sleep 2 guests and provides a unique western vibe with views of our horses from the bedroom window. The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in.
