Bernhardt Winery is less than 1.5 miles away and the Rennaissance festival is under 10 miles away. Our guest can use the whole pasture and woods area as well have access to the fishing pond w/ kayak.

Come getaway in the country! House is surrounded by acreage and has a large area surrounding the house for your fur baby/ies. There is a stock pond in front of the house which is open for your fishing pleasure (Blue Catfish and Crappie). There is a large porch up front, perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset and spending time slowing the pace of life. Minutes from downtown and close to local attractions. Wifi (hot spot) and Roku have recently been added due to popular demand.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston.
