The "Bunkhouse" is a modern, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, located on a 70 acre working cattle ranch. This beautiful rural setting welcomes you to a spacious rustic getaway; five miles from the "hustle and bustle" of Jacksonville, Texas. With slate floors, walk-in tiled showers and a full kitchen with granite countertops, the “Bunkhouse” offers “up- town” convenience in a relaxing get away! A large covered patio area provides outdoor space for dining and activities. Carport accommodates 3-4 cars.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

Enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in the deep, old-fashioned clawfoot tub after a day on the lake. Our metal roof creates a soothing symphony of raindrops on rainy days, adding to the romantic ambiance. "The Wall" is a short distance away by boat, for crappie and catfish fishing. "Heart" us to your wish list for your next romantic retreat!

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the piney woods of east Texas. Cabin is typically quiet but road construction is by the property currently. Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. (You’re welcome to feed them by the fence.) *No dishwasher, if allergic to Gain febreeze plug-in contact owner prior to arrival.

Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE SMOKE SENSITIVITY.
