Only 15/20min drive to all main attractions: Lake Placid, Whiteface, Adirondack Loj and Marcy Dam. A bright and peaceful oasis to unwind from your ADK adventures with a view of the mountains from your bed, the deck, or fire pit. Enjoy a private meadow with access to a natural brook with swimming holes and waterfalls. Queen bed + pullout couch that can sleep 1 adult/2 kids. RELAX!

High Peaks Artist's Loft

The High Peaks Artist’s loft is a converted mechanics shop located conveniently right in Keene. The space has been decorated by two artists and includes original paintings and decorations. This is a generous studio space with a well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, pool table, lounge area and large projection screen. When you are ready to turn in for the night, we hope you will enjoy the newly created sleeping loft. If the weather is nice there is also a fire pit for you to use!

Only .7 miles to the Jay Covered Bridge, 3 miles to the Jay Mountain summit trail head, 7 miles to Whiteface Mountain, and 16 miles to Lake Placid. Keene and Keene Valley trail heads are only minutes away. The cabin has 3 acres of wooded property with a front driveway as well as a back access drivweway which is nice to walk. This cabin sits in the heart of the Adirondack mountains and is minutes to outdoor adventure of all kinds! Only five minutes to Whiteface Mountain and less than 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid, the convenience of the location is key for both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to just getaway and relax in nature. The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

Situated directly by the Ausable River and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and gardens you will be immersed in nature at any time if the year. It's sure to restore the soul. The gentle rumble of the river is ever present as you look out over the natural beauty. During the summer cool off in the river and come back to the screened in porch for an evening meal. In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.

The Shepherd's Crook at Blue Pepper Farm

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water. Akin to glamping!

The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
