Front-seat views of the west coast - Tasman Sea - in a comfortable home with easy/quick access to the beach via private steps to the boardwalk. Home has all the comforts to chill-lax. Peaceful location. Warm home. Woodfire to warm those winter nights (house is toasty warm in 15 mins - fire wood provided). You'll enjoy the peace & tranquility this home has to offer. Koutu Cove: Luxe 1 Bedroom Pod

Relax, pull up a beanbag, and soak in the stunning views with your glass of wine overlooking Hokianga Harbour and its world famous giant sand dunes, or unwind in the hot tub as the sun sets and stars emerge overhead. This modern, fully equipped pod is perfect for a couples' escape. Opononi/Omapere: 7mins Rawene: 20mins Tāne Mahuta: 30mins Kerikeri/Bay of Islands Airport: 1hr 2x guests max. Adults only. Original 1920s Baylys Beach Bach (max 3 guests)

Our lovely 1920s Bach is a one-minute walk from the beach which is over 100kms long. With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

Vineyard Glamping Russell - The Syrah Shack

Hidden inside native bush is our glamping hut named 'the syrah shack', which is nestled behind our syrah vines. The location is 10 minutes out of Russell township, in the Bay of Islands. You will have a vineyard, cellar door and eatery 1km from the hut. Escape your worries and get off the grid in our eco retreat. Enjoy the luxury of a super king bed and the serenity of an outdoor camping style kitchen, hot shower, composting toilet and the best bit is an outdoor bath for two!!

Top House - unrivalled views and privacy

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Wild Forest Treehouse Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

Just a short drive away is the charming village of Matakana & beautiful Omaha Beach.

The Cowshed Cottage

A peaceful rural rustic space to retreat and relax yet minutes from town amenities and the main Northland route. Nestled in the grounds of a 9 acre property half-way along a country cul-de-sac and taking up two thirds of a converted mid-century milking shed building the Cottage is cosy, comfy and self-contained, characterised by quirky charm and surrounded by gardens and birdsong. Easy access, no check-in required.

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.
