Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

The Potter’s Pad

The Potter’s Pad is a gorgeous, private tiny home in the foothills of Pirongia Mountain, with stunning countryside views in every direction The perfect place to experience off grid living but with all the luxuries. Beautifully furnished and full of unique handmade pottery, relax in our hammock chairs and soak up the sunset by the outdoor fire pit Talk to the horses while you listen to the nearby stream and birdlife instead of traffic, although only a two minute drive in to Pirongia Village

Cosy Cottage Kakaramea

This peaceful hideaway/small farm stay 🐓🐑🐄 is set back off the road (350 meter drive) in rural Waikato, located on the outskirts of Hamilton where pets are welcome. We have AC. We are within a 50min drive of Hobbiton, Glow worm caves, Kiwi House, Bush walks and Raglan and more. The LDS Temple is an 8 min Drive. WIFI, Netflix, Disney plus and air conditioning are available. We also provide basics for breakfast. The additional Queen size couch/bed is only available to groups of 3 or4.

Apartment is adjacent to my house on Pirongia Mountain. I'm 20 min from Te Awamutu, 30 min to Hamilton , 40 min to Waitomo Caves, Lake Karapiro or Raglan, 1 hr to Hobbiton & 25 min to Mystery Creek for Field Days. Queen-size bed accommodates up to 2 people. Beautiful views across the area & close access to many local tramping options. Solar-powered apartment is in excellent shape with a kitchen covered with all the basics. Heat pump, wifi & tv (freeview) provided.

Enjoy the valley views and birdlife on this organic property. The stylish room is private and sunny, perfect for a relaxing weekend. It is located next to a small reserve and the Waitetuna River. You can choose to explore the forest walks 5 mins drive away in Waitetuna Valley, sit beside the river on the reserve or take a small trip to Raglan and its surf beaches. The studio is just 15 minutes from Raglan and 30 minutes from central Hamilton and on the bus route.

At 6x3m this tiny home is brand new & cosy, with a full ensuite and kitchenette, wifi, queen bed, bbq and even a beautiful outdoor bath!

The room is spacious, has a queen bed, fold out couch if needed (linen for this $15 extra charge) and new, stylish bathroom. We have a free carpark space available for you, as well as there’s free roadside car parking. Note: this room does not have cooking facilities.
