This river flows all year long! Less than 10 minutes from the Sequoia National Park, nestled near Dinely Bridge just past the village of Three Rivers, the River Haus is a cozy, hidden escape. Relax on your 600 sq ft wooden deck and listen to the sound of the river, then walk just 10 steps through the garden to your private rock-and-sand beach with a corn hole game. The cabin is 1000-square feet. It sleeps six, with one full bathroom, two bedrooms, and a queen convertible sofa in the living room.

The space has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook for you and your family. Head out onto the patio to grill and eat with couches, chairs and a dining table.

Enjoy the space, light, wildlife, scenery and riverine white noise of our quiet and restful home. Located on the North Fork of the Kaweah River we are off the beaten path but only miles from local restaurants, gift shops, markets and, of course, the gate to Sequoia National Park. Our two bedroom suite includes a large common room complete with dining table and a kitchenette (mini- fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and bar sink). Everything you need for a wonderful country get-away.

Johnson Family Home

The Johnson Family Home was the residence of Johnnie Johnson, Whiskey Flat Mayor of 1986, and famous local bartender, Gentleman John. The house is located in Riverkern, a quite residential community three miles upriver from Kernville, and is a short walk to the river and private Bubbles Beach. The home has remained in our family since Gentleman John's passing in 2009, and has been consistently maintained and upgraded by his son, Chris, a retired Santa Barbara school teacher/artist.
