The "Bunkhouse" at Journeys End

The "Bunkhouse" is a modern, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, located on a 70 acre working cattle ranch. This beautiful rural setting welcomes you to a spacious rustic getaway; five miles from the "hustle and bustle" of Jacksonville, Texas. With slate floors, walk-in tiled showers and a modern kitchen with granite countertops, the “Bunkhouse” offers “up- town” convenience in a relaxing get away! A large covered patio area provides outdoor space for dining and activities. Carport accommodates 3-4 cars.

Get away from the hustle & bustle at our hilltop home. Large fenced in area for your furry friends. Outside of town surrounded by farm life on a quite path, there is something for everyone, from the outdoor adventurers to those seeking peaceful getaways. Just minutes away from the lake & 11min from town with a scenic drive through forest trees in every direction. 25 min away from River Run ATV Park with plenty of trailer parking. There are hiking & biking trails as well as museums and safaris.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

The soft furnishings and natural light make this the perfect place to savor some of the simple pleasures of life - fresh baked cookies, a nap in our oversized deck hammock and meaningful conversation. Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Created to share the uniqueness of East Texas with others, Piney Point is a perfect couple or friend's retreat. Tucked in the corner of a six-acre homestead, this restored A-frame offers a modern cozy stay with an expansive deck that overlooks the spring-fed pond. Nearby are some of the best adventures East Texas has to offer, from hiking trails and fishing at Tyler State park, live music, downtown breweries, to market shopping and great food. Escape to the quiet to rest and recharge.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY)This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. Not too far to FIFA WC matches (2:15 to AT&T and 3:00 to NRG).

Private and Secluded Luxury family cabin to escape life’s daily stresses- large porch perfect for cooking. We built a separate Movie Cabin on the hill over 100 movies provided. Custom kitchen was put in with nice appliances, and in the upstairs loft we have another movie projector perfect for relaxing with family. This property is fun for the whole family and offers everything you need for a great vacation!
