Paddock Cottage is a delightful detached cottage which sits on an elevated position within a small hamlet of barn conversions located adjacent to the Deerness Valley Walk and a wealth of bridleways which is the perfect destination for walkers, cyclists, horse riders & mountain bikers The cottage has recently been renovated with a cosy open plan lounge, wood burning stove and free sat TV The well equipped kitchen includes electric oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & air fryer

The cottage is a 2 bedroom mid terrace which sleeps 4 people. It comprises of entrance hall front living room with entertainment wall hosting the 58” smart TV. The dining room has a log burner. Our quaint stone cottage is nestled in the historic village of Lanchester. From the property, you can walk to the local shops, dog friendly bars, and restaurants and discover a network of pretty walking and cycling routes for all the family. The village is an ideal place to stay in County Durham with Durham City only a 15 minute drive and Newcastle a 30 minute drive where you will discover stunning architecture, shopping centres and restaurants galore. You will be spoilt for choice!

Ivesley Cottage. The cottage is a two bedroom mid terrace property sleeping 4 people. It has an open planned dining/lounge with a log effect burner for cosy nights, a well equipped fitted kitchen, separate utility, a fully fitted bathroom (over bath shower), oil central heating, double glazed windows and composite outer doors. There is car parking to the front & private drive for 2 cars at the rear of the property, a block paved yard and a large garden with patio seating area.

We have recently updated our Dairy cottage, by fitting an new kitchen and new windows ! Our Dairy cottage has a double room and a twin room, a modern bathroom, and a cosy living/dining/kitchen area with Smart TV and a wood burning stove ----- the stove is just for fun, there is gas central heating as well to keep it toasty warm. Set on a working sheep farm, the cottage is a great base for local attractions like Beamish Museum, Durham and Hadrian's wall.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
