We are just steps to the Blue Ridge Parkway, minutes to Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park, New River State Park, and at the edge of the Yadkin Valley Wine District. The list of activities are endless including sitting on the deck or by the fire pit watching the view go by. That view has been said to be The best view in the Blue Ridge. This spacious 2400 sq ft home is yours while you play in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

Up The Creek- Relaxing Mtn Farmhouse by the water

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain home. Located on 6 acres by a large creek where you can hike, fish or just play and cool off. You can hang out at our pond where you can swim or float & soak up some sun on provided floats. In addition to the main house we have a pond house where you can chill & grill while you are hanging out at the pond. Located close to the River if you want to rent kayaks or tubes. Dine at nearby cafes or we’re a short trip to town. Must be 21 to book.

The house is situated 0.4 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile marker 256. The house is perfect for a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. After waking up, enjoy the view of 4 ranges of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the deck. We welcome 2 dogs per booking. The house is about 2 miles from the Summit on Cross Mountain wedding venue. We are also close to Zaloos, which is one of the most popular rental places for kayaking and floating the New River. The drive to Downtown West Jefferson is about 15 min.

This home backs up to Doughton Recreation area with endless hiking and camping access. Downtown Sparta offers dining, shopping, and entertainment, and is a short 7 mile drive. The New River is available with ample put ins for kayaks, or take a short 40 minute drive over to West Jefferson. Both beds are queens and new queen sleeper sofa in living room
