Architecturally designed and built in 2020 to complement its Georgian neighbour Hemington House and set entirely in it's own plot with parking and a walled garden, this townhouse sleeps 4. It is located on a quiet street - five minutes' walk from the cafés, galleries, independent and vintage shops of Frome in one direction, and wonderful walks into the surrounding villages and Somerset countryside in the other.

Set in an elevated location in a quiet cul-de-sac, it is 8-mins walk to Frome's characterful town centre. Designed by a local architect and boasting stunning views, the apartment is attached to a unique mid-century family home but offers guests a separate, private entrance. There is off-street parking and a secluded outside seating/viewpoint area.

A beautiful walk through the protected Rodden Meadows brings you into the town centre, full of independent shops and renowned performance venue The Cheese and Grain. The house that Jeremy built.... and Lisa filled with sewing stuff! Designed and built by Jeremy as a wood workshop which was swiftly outgrown so it was remodelled as our home office with mezzanine floor, large ground floor window, insulation and heating. The Brewhouse offers you the best of both worlds: a five minute stroll one way takes you to the buzzing heart of Frome with its independent shops, bars and restaurants. Or use a private gate to take you straight into the countryside for a walk by the river (watch out for the otters!)

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

We are situated on the outskirts of the thriving and popular independent market town of Frome, near Orchardleigh. Please note we have reduced week day prices during the Summer (June to end of August) because, whilst we do not think it will effect visitors, building work is scheduled in the neighbouring property.

Lovely stone architecture, historic buildings, blissful countryside and 3 min walk from our awarding-winning village pub The Talbot Arms. Close to Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Lacock (Potter fans) Cheddar Gorge and Longleat. Easy drive to Cotswolds, the Dorset coast, Wales and Wye Valley.
