York Harbor Inn- Country Inn Room

Located on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the Main Inn, Country Inn Rooms are quite small but elegantly appointed. All rooms are individually decorated with (1) queen bed, private baths with shower & standard amenities. These rooms have small bathrooms & dormers over the beds/windows. Rooms include our buffet breakfast & wifi. There is no ocean view but beach is within walking distance. *Not suitable for travel cribs or cots, 2 guests max.* **Please note there are NO ELEVATORS in any of our buildings

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! Please read check-in instructions—parking, key access & arrival tips are included for a smooth arrival. We suggest researching the area ahead to know what’s nearby and come prepared, as we aren’t always instantly available to reply. Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–10, Sat 12–10 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬

The Inn is located in downtown Bar Harbor on historic Main Street across from the Village Green. Walk to everything the village has to offer. Leave your car safely tucked away in our private parking space while you explore town, or take a quick stroll across the street to catch the Island Explorer into Acadia National Park.

We’re a small 1950s boutique motel in a tranquil setting just 1.5 miles outside of downtown Portsmouth and Kittery Foreside. Pull up and park directly in front of your room. In need of some fresh Maine air? Just open the windows in your room, or get your fill while sitting outside in our gazebo, by our outdoor saltwater pool (early June to mid Sept) or in our grassy common area.
