Situated on over a half-acre at the end of a dead-end road, this Midcentury Modern Home has flair and charm—plus a number of amenities. The space is designed to comfortably accommodate up to two guests. If you have more, please message me, and we can discuss arrangements. It is one bedroom/one bathroom. Queen-sized bed, 75-Inch TV with Sonos sound system, patio, deck, fire-pit, huge fenced-in backyard. Watch as the train across the field passes through town (note: its horn can be a bit noisy)

Named after it's beloved owner, "Granny" -we have worked to keep her hospitality and memories alive. No matter where we go in life, we always remember the feeling of going to that one person's home that tended our wounds, always had an abundance of snacks, games, stories and especially soft comfy bedding! We hope you feel as welcome as we always did!

Cottage at Old Wire

Early check-in and late check-out are offered for a fee. The fee for an early check-in is $15. The fee for a late check-out is $15. For both the total is $30. A private cottage situated on 22 acres. Perfect retreat for a getaway, bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and king bed. High-speed internet at over 100mbps! This is a farm setting with animals and a beautiful view of the Ozarks. The acreage adjoins Old Wire Conservation Area, an 800 acre Missouri Conservation area with hiking trails.

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.
