Deck and patio catch all the morning and day time sun. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon vino, or summer dinners with family or friends. The house is well equiped with kitchen essentials for cooking & dining, washing machine and washing line, books and board games as well as unlimited wireless internet and Netflix.

A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

A 1920's cottage, that is light and warm with plenty of sunny spots, especially on the back porch. Open plan, with easy indoor/outdoor flow. Private and restful. You will love its cosy homeliness and be able to relax in its beautiful setting. With unfenced section it is unsuitable for a family with under two year olds. Easy walking distance to small supermarket, cafe, fish and chip shop and other Essentials. Two playgrounds around the corner. Or stay home with books, puzzles, games.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

The house for all seasons, occasions and ages. Double glazed with new thermal curtains. Heat pump and log burner in downstairs living room and heatpump in upstairs bedroom to keep you cosy in winter and cool in summer. The grounds are spacious and private. Great for playing games, BBQ and evening drinks on the sun-drenched deck or in front of the outdoor fireplace. Toys, board games, bikes and sports equipment are provided. Fully fenced. Prior approval for pets is required ($20 per stay)

Cole St Cottage- centrally located 1902 cottage

Cole st Cottage is just a five minute walk to town on the very popular Cole st. A beautifully restored, cute as a button 1902 house with a front and back deck to relax on. A cosy log burner for Winter stays and a sunny back area in Summer. The house has 2 rooms with queen beds and 1 room with 2 single beds. We offer the perfect stay for work trips, couples or up to 6 guests. Explore New Zealand's most beautiful small city and the surrounding Wairarapa region as Lonely Planet recommends.

Hidden Valley Getaway

Hidden Valley Homestay, more commonly known as "The Winery", was once a working vineyard/ winery, known as the Hidden Valley Vineyard. The winery building was built in 1999 out of strawbales. Current owners, and your hosts, Bridget and Jono Hartnell (who live onsite) have recently converted this characteristic building into a fully functional, modern and charming house. Spacious in size, this nearly 200 square metre house is the perfect getaway for family and friend groups.

The Little White Bach

1960s fully renovated home in the heart of Martinborough. Perfect getaway for a couple, family or friends to explore the local boutique wineries or the many attractions the Wairarapa has to offer. We have two queen size rooms and one king single, all bedrooms have good size wardrobes. We have two beautiful large decks one south facing out front and one in the back for all day and evening entertainment. We have new radiator heating to keep you warm in cooler months.
