The Gem is located in the historic part of town just a block away from where Harper Lee and Truman Capote grew up. In fact, when this house was built Harper Lee was just 14 years old and attended Monroe County High School located 3 blocks North west of here. This house is a lovely three bedroom which sleeps eight people.

Enjoy our stylish 1-bedroom, 1 bath loft with access to a balcony overlooking our historic courthouse museum! We have a king bed as well as a sofa bed that pulls out for 2 additional people. To lock the balcony door, simply lift up on the door lever and turn knob at the same time.
