Dutjiya Mang - Private cottage

Peacefully yet centrally located (on Dja Dja Wurrung Country), Dutjiya Mang is the perfect rest spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or adventures exploring the Goldfields region. Inside the modest cedar wood cabin, vaulted ceilings add a sense of space to the cosy lounge and queen-sized bedroom. Step out and enjoy a barbecue on one of two decks. You will have undisturbed use of Dutjiya Mang. However, the cabin shares 1.8 acres with another house. You are welcome to explore the shared gardens.

Hilltop Cabin with Kyneton Views

Riverslea Cabin is a hilltop tiny house with incredible views of Mount Macedon, the township of Kyneton and beyond. Enjoy peace and privacy in a farmstay location, watching sunrises with sheep and sunsets with cows. Access some of the best cafes and restaurants in Regional Victoria within a 3-minute drive or a 25-minute walk away. The cabin features a queen bed with a quality mattress, kitchenette, bathroom with large shower, split system, patio with outdoor seating plus plenty of lawn parking.

Little Wonky

Centrally located near the station, but hidden behind a secluded garden, Little Wonky is a lovingly maintained miner's cottage, and the perfect place to slow down and unwind. The original 1880's cottage is carefully decorated with Asian collectibles, and transports you to another era. The addition of a bright studio, set-up in a Japanese style, gives you the best of the modern world, with a wheelchair accessible bathroom. It is unpretentious, yet full of loveliness and good vibes. No TV!!!

Kangaroo Creek Cottage

We have created a calm, serene country-style cottage with all the trimmings, located on a separate block of land against the backdrop of the bush teeming with local wildlife. You can relax on the porch in the morning or evening watching the golden light make its way across the valley, while enjoying a coffee or wine and seasonal treats from our greenhouse, or larder. Enjoy the Fryers Ridge Nature Reserve with many kilometers of tracks, fantastic for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.

Myrtle Creek Cottage

Down a country lane on the banks of Myrtle Creek and opposite the old red brick church, this completly private and self sufficient cottage attached to the main house is set in quiet paddocks where old red gums cast deep shade. Built in 2024 as an extension to our sustainable house, there is a stylish full kitchen and bathroom. A couple of Golden Retrievers are love and affection on legs and walks in the granite country are special. Or you can head to Bendigo, Castlemaine or local wineries

School House No. 1083 Kyneton

School House was built in Lauriston in the 1860's and was later transported to central Kyneton. Honouring the original character and charm, it has been beautifully restored and is surrounded by your own private garden, veranda, BBQ and entertainment area. School House has private entry. Studio-style with one large room consisting of a queen bed, single sofa-bed, lounge and modern kitchen and bathroom. School House has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The Hermitage (Cottage)

“The Hermitage" is a unique stone cottage just 4.4 km from Castlemaine's town centre. Originally built during the gold rush in the 1850s, and one of the oldest properties in the area. Situated on 26 acres in a quiet valley, this spacious two bedroom cottage has been lovingly renovated, blending original character with the comforts of modern living. A peaceful and romantic country escape, with kangaroos grazing nearby, and a cosy wood fire, perfect for relaxing and reconnecting.
