Peaceful & pet friendly acre near Acadia with fast WiFi, views to Ripples Pond (a wildlife sanctuary), & fenced in backyard. Roomy 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress & 2 sleeper futons, + a detached Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A nature path leads to a hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility awaits! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin day bed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Tiny kitchen & bathroom with shower (2 temps: hot or cold) too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. Our family's gazebo, grill, fire pit, hammock, trails & garden are shared with guests. A beautiful beach across the bay from Acadia is down the road.

The Black Haven Tiny Home

This new modern home is anything but ordinary. With four 11 foot windows lining the front of the home it allows for the space to feel light and airy. The bright interior is a perfect contrast to the exterior. Located in a quite neighborhood close to Newbury Neck Beach. This home offers parking, WIFI, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor lounge area. Just a short drive will put you in the heart of Blue Hill where you’ll find great restaurants and cafes. Acadia National Park is just 30 miles away.

Bar Harbor is 20 minutes away, Long Pond (1.3 miles) and Echo Lake (2.6 miles) are within a few minutes. Southwest Harbor is located on the "Quietside" of Acadia. It is a quaint town with a local feel & there are many good dining options nearby.

Little Suite in the Woods

Escape to the quiet woods of Mount Desert Island in a modern retreat within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park. The house is located on the quiet side of the island, 1/2 mile off of Rt. 198. As you depart 198 a gravel road takes you through dense forest, leaving behind the street noise and summer rush. When you arrive you are surrounded by woods with not another house in sight. If you are looking to be in town, this is not it. We are within walking distance of nature, nothing more.

Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Our modern log cabin has stunning views of Frenchmen Bay in a very private, serene location. With 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms & one large loft) /2 baths it is the perfect spot for a family or two to enjoy. Whether you enjoy sipping coffee on the deck, sitting by the ocean, or exploring the tide pools by the shore, there are many areas to enjoy. In Nov 2021- the cabin had full bathroom renovations & all new decor. Our other property is Bar Harbor Cedar Chalet.
