The Shiny Elk Chalet is your bright and sunny mountain home located in the Southern VT near the Green Mountain National Forest just 7 miles from Mount Snow Ski Resort, and 13 miles from Stratton Mountain. Rest and relax on a small private cul-de-sac. Huge windows and filled with natural light in the afternoon. Summer: enjoy the firepit and make some s'mores! Grill on our propane grill and enjoy the beautiful stone patio and patio furniture. Explore the local towns, waterfalls, and the VT.

After your long day exploring come relax in the hot tub, by the fire, in the game room, or just out on our deck taking in the sunset!

This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Fireplace, TV ( Netflix ), outside terrace, parking onsite up to 2 vehicles. Supermarket nearby ( 5 mins walk ). 1 dog per stay is allowed as long as he is well trained . Dog fee applies. Dog are not allowed to sleep in the beds . 2 dogs per stay is strictly subject to approval .
