2023年に新しくオープンしました！ 場所は和歌山県の高野山で、天空の聖地と呼ばれ、標高900mほどの峰々に囲まれた山上盆地であり、町全体が世界遺産にも登録されています。 10年以上の高野山でのゲストハウス（Koyasan guesthouse Kokuu）の運営の経験を生かし、新たなチャレンジとして高野山内では初めての一棟の貸しを開始しました。 この宿は元々長年使われていなかったガレージをリノベーションしたもので、「山に籠るように過ごしてほしい」という思いから山籠（さんろう）と名付けました。この宿を隠れ家のようなものとして、選りすぐりの民芸品や器も楽しんでいただけるようにと思いを込めています。 一日一組限定で、完全にプライベートな空間と時間を提供します。友達や家族、カップルなど最大4名まで宿泊が可能で、自分とひたすら向き合う時間に、大切な人と思い出深い時間をお過ごしください。※宿泊中は完全に貸切状態で、他のゲストはいません。 チェックインはテンキーでの入館になりますが、入館後必ずホストが直接ご挨拶に伺い、施設案内、高野山の観光案内を致します。その他、滞在中は何でもご相談ください

Nara Park is also nearby, offering a wonderful blend of history and nature, making this private rental house perfect for family or friends. It is conveniently located for access to major attractions like Nara Park and Kasuga Taisha. For long-term guests, we offer drinks, snacks, and other perks. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Traditional district Guesthouse

The house is in a quiet, traditional area of Nara with smooth access to the station and main sightseeing spots. You’ll have 2 guest rooms upstairs with a toilet and washbasin. The shower room is on the first floor. Each room has a lock for your privacy. There are 3 futon beds and 1 double bed. Meals are available if reserved 2 days in advance: sukiyaki dinner (6,500 JPY/person) breakfast (1500JPY/person) I also run a cozy café nearby, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

およそ築100年、大正時代の本格日本家屋のゲストハウスを一棟貸し切りして頂けます。 気兼ねなく、奈良に暮らすようにゆっくりお過ごし頂けます。 奈良公園のすぐ側、近鉄奈良駅まで徒歩約10分。 早朝や夕暮れの静かな時間の散策も容易です。 4名様まで同料金です。最大9名様までご宿泊頂けます。 格子の窓や茶室、縁側、中庭、大正時代に建てられた日本家屋は趣で魅力いっぱいです。 中庭に面した掘り炬燵のあるリビングでゆっくり団欒して下さい。 キッチンは、IHコンロ、電子レンジ、トースター、冷蔵庫、ポット、調理道具などが揃っています。 みんなで料理して、庭を見ながら掘りごたつでお鍋を囲むなど、楽しくお過ごし下さい！ トイレとシャワールームは二か所ずつございます。 ホテルのような設備はございませんが、懐かしい情緒とゆっくりお過ごし頂けると幸いです。 お部屋は寝室だけで合計3部屋（大きい和室を分割すれば4部屋）ございます。 人数に合わせてご用意させて頂きます。 部屋割りなどにご希望がございましたらご連絡下さい。

You can rent an old house that is over 100 years old. A 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station and a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. There are many convenience stores and restaurants in the surrounding area. The building is old but has been renovated in a modern style. There is also floor heating on the first floor, and all rooms are air-conditioned. Comfortable even in winter. There is a parking space for one car on the adjacent lot.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
