Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it.

Bán house in Barabásszeg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.

Upon thorough renovation in 2021, the house has been adapted to the modern way of living, yet it retained its original charm and soul.

Nice, cosy place to enjoy yourself. Very quiet neighbourhood one step away from green nature and few steps away form the best spa facilites in north Croatia, Toplice Sveti Martin. It is situated in north Međimurje sorrounded with great vinerys, restaurants and wonderful hills made for hiking and cycling. Čakovec and Varaždin are near by and it is also close to Slovenia (Lendava, Ptuj).
