Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. It is the perfect base to explore the panoramic North Coast of Ireland with its many tourist attractions. There are a great selection of restaurants and quality coffee shops nearby.

We invite you to relax and enjoy the outdoors with the luxury of staying in a brand new camper. The camper is situated just a hop, skip and a jump from lake access, 15 minutes to Mahone Bay and 20 minutes to Lunenburg. The outdoor space has a dining table, access to outdoor games and water floaties. A fire pit is available when allowed and depending on wind. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck (via ladder) plus a single lower bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).

The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. This is a true retreat for romance and adventure.
