The Orchid

The Cottage at Farnham House is a one bedroom barn conversion in the beautiful village of Farnham in North Yorkshire. It has been furnished to a very high standard and has its own private garden. The village is very quiet and peaceful with lovely local walks. The Cottage is 2 miles from Knaresborough, 5 miles from Harrogate and 20 miles from York, all of which have excellent restaurants and shops. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.
