Perfect for a winter escape... relax by the cosy fire with a book, enjoy BBQs on the deck weather permitting, or simply listen to the sound of native birds. The bay can be accessed directly from the property via some steps. It's only a short drive to Tāwharanui Regional Park, Matakana Village for cafes, restaurants, cinema and the famous Matakana Saturday Markets, Omaha Beach and Goat Island.

Hurstmere Cottage is 5mins from Matakana. Nestled at the back of our farm, the cottage is surrounded in countryside with tuis, bellbirds and even kookaburras, it is instantaneous relaxation. Connected to the new cycleway you can be into the township or exploring the beaches and countryside with ease. Its just a 3 minute walk down pathways to the beautiful white sand beach. Its a nice quiet area omaha away from the busy surf club.
