The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. The Coach House is bookable by the week (start day Friday), and for weekend and mid-week short breaks.

Pathwell Farm has 2 dog friendly self catering holiday lets - Ash (sleeps 4) and Oak (sleeps 2 +2 on a sofa bed). Perfect to rent out individually or together for larger groups. Each let has its own enclosed courtyard. There is a designated 2 acre exercise field. Parking for several cars. The Royal Forest of Dean has miles of very scenic footpaths and fantastic bike tracks. Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Forest of Dean, The Old Chapel

In the Forest of Dean, the Old Chapel is situated next to woodland with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The chapel has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features, character and charm. An abundance of pine cladding on walls and ceilings give a wonderful feeling of warmth and relaxation. The floors are original pine. Candles in the evening and a beast of a woodburner makes this an incredibly relaxing place to be. Something a little bit different.
