During the day take a walk around the 3-acre property, interact with the alpacas, goats & pigs through the fence, relax on the porch, & sit by your private firepit under a sky full of stars.

The Roost-A Perfect Couple’s Getaway

The Roost offers guests a unique and cozy stay in a beautiful, romantic stone barn. It has been transformed from an 1800s chicken coop, preserving the original character of this historic building, while adding modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The Roost is perfect for couples seeking a rustic and authentic experience. Overlooking the rolling hills of Northumberland, it is a great place to slow down and enjoy all the area has to offer. It is an eight minute drive to Campbellford.

GcLittle Tourist Cabin on the Marsh

Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock on a private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

knitter’s retreat!

Our goal is to be sustainable on an acre & 1/2! We have 4 sheep 1 dog 2 cats and a bunch of chickens! The cabin is powered by solar enough for lights and cell phone charging. It is heated by a mini woodstove. Wood and drinking water provided! We process the wool and spin and knit items for sale here! Thank you for helping us reach our goal❤️
