The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

The Lake House

Cozy 2Bed/2bath lake house only 70 miles from the Twin Cities. Perfect for quick getaways, for couples, families or solo travelers. Property has a fantastic view. The house has all amenities and all you need for enjoying great meals (gas grill, gas stove). Enjoy beautiful sunsets while barbecuing, or sit around the fire pit, right by the lake. Off Grid Lakeside Yurt

Welcome to our lakeside yurt! This yurt is on 24 acres of private land with thousands of acres of public land connected. This site overlooks the lake which is wonderful for exploring, we do offer a canoe with booking. We provide basic lighting, wood stove, fire wood, a hand pump well in walking distance, an outhouse, and a wood fired cast iron hot tub. We are always happy to answer questions and lend a hand. We know this area really well and can offer suggestions and guidance.

Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!
