La Casilla Berber style

This small village house is tucked away just below the church and the traditional washhouse of Bubión. Built in authentic berber style, there are chestnut beams, slate ceilings, terracotta-flagged floors and whitewashed walls. It is a house of genuine character. Although very much part of the village, you nevertheless feel hidden away from the rest of the world here. The south-facing views down the Poqueira Valley are fabulous, encompassing the rural bliss of the surrounding mountains, sweeping across a shimmering Mediterranean Sea to Morocco beyond. The walk down to Pampaneira which starts from the Church is one of the great walks of the Alpujarras. This is a perfect base for anyone who loves mountains and nature. An intricate network of paths and tracks at all levels will satisfy walkers of every ability and inclination, and there is one of Spain's finest stables very close by (the owner lives in the village). Local facilities are excellent - there is ample free parking at the top of the village, and shops, bars and restaurants are a stone's throw away. Convenient bus service to and from Granada 3 times a day. In the summer months bus service to the high mountains - base of Mulhacen. Bubión is a small mountain village - La Casilla is at the bottom of the village. You can leave your car, in the car park, at the top of the village and walk the last 200 (+/-) meters to the house, or if you choose you can drive through the narrow streets and park in the main square, about 50 meters from the house. We recommend you park at the top of the village until you have inspected the streets.

Casa en La Alpujarra Árabe, ubicada en El Barrio más antiguo de Capileira, el lugar más tranquilo y mágico del pueblo. Rodeada de sonidos de fuentes, acequias, montañas, rutas de senderismo y el Río Poqueira. La casa consta de dos plantas. Arriba hay un dormitorio con baño en suite, terraza con vistas a la montaña, Salón con chimenea y dos sillones-cama. Abajo hay otro salón-comedor con cocina americana y estufa de leña. Totalmente equipada y con WIFI. No calefacción. Solo chimeneas. No hay TV.

CASA LA SOLEA Casa la Soleá es una casa tradicional alpujarreña, renovada respetando todos los elementos tradicionales, techos de piedra y castaño, muros anchos de piedra y barro.... Está totalmente reformada y con todo el mobiliario a estrenar. Vistas del pueblo, el mar y Sierra Nevada. Tiene muy fácil acceso pues está al lado de la carretera principal para descargar y con un parking muy cerca. A demás desde la casa se accede al camino principal para hacer múltiples senderos. LGBTQ friendly, Traditional Alpujarran house of 80 sq m set in paradise garden and orchard of 3000 sq m, located just outside Bubion village, short walk to neighbouring village, Capileira. Ancient mulepaths lead in all directions directly from the house. Perfect location for hiking, riding, cycling or relaxing in pure mountain air. Eagles, bee-eaters, and wild ibex can all be seen from the garden. Legally I can only rent to 3 guests (although there are 2 double beds). WiFi for working.

El ambiente acogedor con una decoración llena de detalles, invitan a pasar unos días de tranquilidad y sosiego en Capileira. La casita fue originalmente la cuadra de una casa familiar y ha sigo cuidadosamente rehabilitada. Las ventanas de Climalit han sido instaladas en Septiembre del 2017, igual que el termo de agua caliente y cocina vitrocerámica.

Our small but fully equipped apartment is located on the edge of Mecina. The flat has everything you need to enjoy a few days in this smal but very family friendly village. Mecina has 2 restaurants - 1 which offers lots of live music and some of the best pizzas and the other a vegetarian restaurant. A bar with the best morning toasts and a hotel with a public pool in summer. The village also has a child's park. The flat is located high in the village - hence the name calle el castillo
