Η κατοικία είναι χτισμένη στους πρόποδες του Ξηροβουνίου της Κεντρικής Εύβοιας. Το Ξηροβούνι αποτελεί συνέχεια της Δίρφυς και παρόλο τ΄ όνομά του είναι γεμάτο από πλούσια και πυκνή βλάστηση.
