Ideally situated in Newton Stewart, a small market town on the banks of the River Cree, Gateway to.the Galloway forest and Dark skies. The Old School House is a listed building that’s brimming with history. This spacious, four-bedroom holiday home now features sumptuous furnishings and an 8-person hot tub overlooking the gardens. The house can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably, and is a firm favourite with hill walkers and mountain bikers because of its proximity to Galloway Forest Park

The Byre, Spoutwells Holiday Cottages, Stranraer

The Byre is situated in open country side, 1 mile from Stranraer. The property was completed in March 2017 and was part of the original farm buildings. Open plan fitted kitchen/dining/lounge area, double bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. First floor : two super king size or twin bedrooms and a shower room. Great area for walking, golfing and cycling. Many local attractions to visit - including Logan Botanic Garden, Wigtown Book Town and Mull of Galloway. Day trips to Belfast

The house is very light and airy with plenty of space for large family get togethers, with each bedroom having their own bath or shower room. Portpatrick beach is just a short stroll from the house. The owner is close by and is always happy to answer any questions or call in if needed

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

Seaside home-from-home, on the east cliff of the village, 7 minutes walk down to the shore. (Slower coming back up!) Walk to the Post Office, bakers, cafe, pubs, restaurants, gift shops. Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

Beach Cottage is a charming property right on the seafront in beautiful Portpatrick. A perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this area of South West Scotland. Walks, Shops, Pubs, Cafe, Beach and Dunskey Golf Course are all easily accessible. Unobstructed views across the harbour and out toward the coastline of Ireland. To the rear of the property is an enclosed cottage garden, with small patio area. The cottage offers cozy, home from home accommodation.

The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.
