The Whip-poor-will's Roost (pets welcome!)

Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).

Kelley Acres Cabins: 18 acres to relax on

Kelley Acres comprises 18 acres in Roaring River, NC. nestled within wine country, trout streams, hunting, rafting & golf, and 5 miles from Stone Mountain. The cabins are dated to the mid 1800's and can accommodate 6 comfortably. Full kitchen, 2 baths,laundry, A/C, Gas fireplace, the Master cabin has a Queen Cedar log bed, Living Cabin has Queen AirSoft sleeper sofa "awesome sleep" and loft with 2 single beds and room for more. Perfect for couples and families that want to slow down a bit.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mtns at The Sun Lodge, a cozy and welcoming cabin in a gated community, just 20 minutes from the BR Parkway. With an open floor plan, the lodge offers a loft and primary bedroom with a unique, spacious feel. Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway or need to work remotely, our super-fast Wi-Fi allows you to stay connected with ease. Important: The spiral staircases are tight. Please be mindful if traveling with small children or elderly guests.

The "Midnight Moon" Cabin, State Road NC

Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax by the fire or enjoy checkers on the porch, just soak it all in.

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

“Well off the road and very private… You will want to grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains from our luxury hot tub! Watch it rise over the valley from our comfy loft bed while enjoying a cup of our signature coffee! Our kitchen is well-stocked to make your stay easy and enjoyable, including an outdoor grill! You can also enjoy the amazing views from outdoors by relaxing in a hammock or playing a round of cornhole, or sitting around a cozy fire (wood provided).”

Hilltop Haven

Cozy log cabin home centrally located in Western North Carolina about 40 minutes to Boone/Blowing Rock and 1.5 hours to Asheville and Charlotte. Amazing views in this private and gated mountain community. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you walk down to community waterfall or take a five minute drive to the public swimming beach on Kerr Lake. The Redmond Cabin

A sweet little cabin originally built in 1909, tucked in the north end of Iredell County. 1,600 sq ft—Newly renovated, fully furnished, and modernized for the comfort of guests. It is a very quiet and calm area, perfect for a weekend escape or place to stay while visiting the surrounding area. Our cabin sits on over 100 acres of property, offering a rustic get-away with modern conveniences, away from the rush and busyness of everyday life. Come take in the beauty of North Carolina.

Plenty of nature to see from the porch or from the warmth of the cabin. There are plenty of activities for the whole family like golf, hiking/fishing Stone Mountain or movies and games at the cabin. Less than 2 miles away from Stone Mountain State Park entrance. 30 minutes to Sparta, 30 minutes to Elkin or Wilksboro.
