A lovely, quiet, well equipped cottage, converted from an original farm building. South facing secluded garden in delightful surrounds on the edge of Newick. Short walk to 3 gorgeous old oak-beamed pubs, tandoori, village bakery and shops. Great base for exploring Sussex - 15 minutes to Lewes, and 30 minutes from Brighton. Sheffield Park Gardens, Bluebell Railway, Borde Hill, Glyndebourne and South of England showground all near. Very peaceful village setting, beautiful countryside walks.
Converted from an original farm building, and set in the beautiful gardens of our grade 2* listed 16th century Manor House the accommodation is almost all on one level. The south facing garden is enclosed with patio and lawn areas, flower borders and a beautiful magnolia tree, and the north facing aspect looks across to Newick's lovely 11th century mellow sandstone church. The church clock is silent!
The cottage and its garden are for the exclusive use of guests.

There is ample car parking in the extremely quiet cul de sac (leads only to the church car park and one other house), with a drop off area for loading and unloading immediately outside the cottage front door. For those with specific mobility issues we can make parking (1 car) available in our own driveway by arrangement.
